The RHRA's Public Register gives you a more complete history of a retirement home's track record of compliance with the Act. You can access more than 700 licensed retirement homes located across Ontario including those in your community.
With compliance, inspection and care services information about every licensed retirement home in Ontario, our Register will give you the facts needed to make an informed decision about where you want to live.
The Register even provides a standardized checklist of what care services are offered, making it fast and easy to compare homes.
Search licensed homes and licence applicants by name, city or postal code. Using the green links on the left of this page you can also find information about RHRA licensing decisions, such as application refusals, licences issued with conditions, revoked licences, prosecutions and homes that have been operating without a licence.
Keep in mind, the results "by city" will only include licensees and applicants that have listed a particular city as part of their address. For example, a licensee or applicant in Nepean may be listed under Ottawa. This means you may wish to search under a related city or town names, or by postal code.
